My Hobby
My hobby collecting stamps.Collecting stamps has been a hobby of milions of people all over the world. I collect stamps mostly for the pleasure. But the strange and scare stamps are most valuble. Stamps help us to know many things. We may learn about places,people,animals and other things.For this,we have to study about the details printed on the stamps deeply.I think this is a good hobby to our life very much.
My School
My school is B/sri Devananda Centrel College. It is situated between Bandarawela and Welimada.The principal of our school is Mr.Weerasinghe. He is very kind to us. But he becomes strick,the children get stubborn. There are many trees,buildings,ponds,flowerbeds and herbleplans.There are a principal office,a dancingroom,a musicroom,a library,a laboratary , a canteen and a big playground in my school. one thousand and five hundreds of students study in my schoo l. And eighty teachers teach us.our school has won “the best school” of uva province.A prize giving and a sports meet are held every year.The moto of our school is “Let’s go front’.I love to my school very much and I shall save to my school.
My name is Dilani Nuwanthika. I study at Bandarawela Sri Devananda Centrel College. I am twele years old. My village is Mirahawatta. I am in grade eight. My father is Mr. Amarasinghe.He is a farmer. My mother is Mrs.Kusumawathi. She is a good house wife. I have one brother and only one sister. My best friend is Dinusha Madhumali.She helps me to study.My favourite subjects are maths,english and sience. My favourite auther is Mr. Martin Wickramasinghe. My hobby is collecting stamps. My ambition is want to be a music teacher oneday and save to my motherland srilanka.
